On Aug 8, the 'Belt and Road' agricultural products SCO collection & distribution center was unveiled in Qingdao, a landmark project by Shandong Hi-Speed Group serving the SCO Demonstration Zone's 'four centers' construction.
Shandong's foreign trade reached 1,806.92 billion yuan in H1 2026, up 4.4% YoY, ranking 5th nationwide. Exports grew 1.9% to 1,071.49 billion yuan; imports grew 8.2% to 735.43 billion yuan. Three indicators hit record highs.
